Pousada Patuá Do Morro

It's not just perfectly located and a new hotel (everything shines new) but its strongest suit is the people working there. All behave as your friends, always smiling at you. I could name Alessandra, Rubens and Marcos at the reception and Luciana tending breakfast. Odette is fantastic she came some days to the breakfast room just to cheer the guests up. 5 stars everything. I would return of I go back to Morro and recommend it to everyone.

Brand new hotel, nicely decorated with a lovely swimming pool. However we feel it’s far from good value for money. The breakfast is very simple for what it costs, the wifi is very weak in bedrooms and walls are very thin (you can hear perfectly conversations from rooms next door). Also some building work noise going on. The cleaners are lovely. I would only consider staying here again if it was half of the price.

Brand new and well-kept guesthouse, with great service at reception and a very efficient pre-check-in system. Great location: close to everything, but at a safe distance from the crowd😅 The room is well decorated, very clean, fragrant, with a good bathroom, great shower, great bed. Good mirrors in the room. Complimentary cocktails upon arrival. Flavored water available at reception. They have attention to detail. Great service. Everything we needed was promptly taken care of. The guesthouse is cozy and has a swimming pool. The only suggestion would be to provide more umbrellas to shade the edges of the pool. Some guests upstairs are noisy, you can hear the noise when they walk up the stairs talking loudly. The breakfast is varied and delicious. The beijus are not made fresh, they are ready-made and available on a heated tray at the main table. For me it's not a question, because I don't like kissing. They could make the cheese bread available every day, instead of every other day (lol). The first few days I was staying, all the food in the cafe on the main table was protected from flies. Then they started placing food without these protections. I suggest maintaining the pattern of putting on protection every day. Breakfast time is scheduled. I found it very good for better organizing the number of guests in the restaurant. Some caveats: the room safe is very small. Not all valuable things fit. They only change towels every three days. I understand the issue of sustainable use of water, etc., but... The Wi-Fi doesn't work properly, but that's not an issue for me either. I went to rest, not to work. In general, the guesthouse is great and I recommend it for quiet people, non-party people and couples without children.

Amazing hotel, in fact it is one of the best located in Morro de São Paulo. Lovely breakfast, fantastic shower & room, all the attendants are polite and friendly . For me was perfect to stay there, to finish, is important to describe….the hotel is located closer to second beach and the same time out of the noise, sounds etc, because your location is on the MORRO DE SAO PAULO reserve.

Excellent experience in Morro de SP, the guesthouse is well located on the 2nd beach, easy access, clean rooms, delicious breakfast, impeccable service, the kitchen team is fantastic. I want to give special thanks to manager Odete, in addition to being very attentive, cheerful and professional, she helped me a lot and in my health situation, I felt very well supported and cared for. We will definitely be back!

The room was comfortable and the breakfast was very diverse, however, I cannot help but report an extremely unpleasant situation we had with the Pousada. On 11/27 we were informed by the inn's reservations department that on New Year's Eve the inn would have a complete supper, with typical foods and sparkling wine. We planned our day according to this information and when we arrived at the inn at the end of the day, there was a sign informing us that there would be a ''cold table''. I thought it was strange and asked the receptionist, who informed that they had ''changed'' and that it would only be the cold cuts table and there would be no supper. We were extremely disappointed and with the utmost politeness I explained the obvious, that a cold cuts table was very different from a supper and that they should have warned us. We were hungry, the city was completely packed, all the establishments were booked and we would like some help to, at the very least, find somewhere to have dinner. The receptionist said she couldn't help and that what she could do was call the supervisor. Upon arrival, the supervisor initially pretended to disagree, reinforcing that they had prepared ''a beautiful table of cold cuts'' and so on. I had to be very patient to make it clear that the cold cuts table wasn't a favor they were doing us (as it seemed she wanted to say), that they had given us wrong information and that we hoped to be able to have dinner that night. Soon after, two other couples arrived questioning the situation at the table, and she continued with the speech that there was nothing to be done and repeating that there was a beautiful table of cold cuts that ''the inn made free of charge for the guests''. I didn't feel the slightest empathy on her part towards us, I expected them to at least sincerely acknowledge the mistake and try to reward us in some way. There was nothing like that, and I also didn't want to prolong the discussion so as not to ruin our night any more. In short, we spent the most stress trying to find somewhere to have dinner, on December 31st, 9pm+, my husband ran from restaurant to restaurant practically begging for a table, everything was packed... and all this because of the disorganization and lack of communication from the inn's sectors... mainly due to the way the employees handled the situation, it is not a place I would return to or recommend to anyone.
